Males should use these guidelines:

  • Ideal waist measurement is between 31 and 36 inches
  • Overweight is between 36 and 40 inches
  • Obese is over 40 inches

You really need to get your head around the fact that it is far easier to start now and do a little bit of maintenance each week on the old body to keep yourself in shape. More importantly, it will reduce your risk of chronic disease that could be sneaking up on you without you noticing. Unfortunately by the time the symptoms of disease or illness manifest it could well be too late.

Modern lifestyle diseases, especially the “big three”, heart disease, cancer and diabetes take years and even decades to get a foothold in your body.

These diseases at present cannot be cured…only treated, leaving their victims with half a life.
