The Many Benefits of HIIT Workouts

HIIT-JumpropeLack of time is no excuse for sporting a body that is obviously sedentary and out of shape these days. Excellent scientific research is proving that you can perform significantly shorter workouts at greater intensity and get better results than the usual time consuming “cardio” type routines.

Called High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), these short bursts of all out exercise involve alternating between very intense bouts of exercise and low intensity exercise. As an example you could sprint for 30 seconds followed by 90 seconds of walking, continue to repeat 30 seconds sprinting, 90 seconds walking.
